Lisa Zasada is the Director of Reliability & Improvement for General Mills. In this role, she has accountability for leveraging data and technical expertise to improve General Mills’ manufacturing systems by eliminating complex losses, accelerating capacity improvements, and driving consistent and predictable performance.
Lisa joined General Mills in 2000 and held a variety of positions in Manufacturing and Engineering at multiple manufacturing plants. In 2013, Lisa became the External Supply Chain Engineering Manager, accountable for technical leadership and capital investment strategy with GMI’s external partners. Lisa was named the Global Sr. Engineering Manager of Project Management in 2016. In 2018, she led a global Engineering transformation initiative that introduced industry leading methods and tools to existing processes to unlock new agility for our businesses. Lisa became the Director of Reliability and Improvement in 2020.
Lisa was recognized by Putman Media as one of the 2020 class of Influential Women in Manufacturing. She has an MBA from the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business, and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is married and has three children.
