Michael Shimazu brings decades of experience and thought leadership as the RTX Smart Factory Technical Director in the Industry 4.0 Operating System organization.
Before his current corporate role, Shimazu served as the Factory Integration and Modernization Lead within Digital Technology and the Operations Innovation and Modernization Lead, ushering in Raytheon’s digital transformation. He has held numerous other Engineering and Operations roles across several companies and has spent the last 18 years in Aerospace and Defense.
Shimazu holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial technology from California Polytechnic State University of San Luis Obispo.
