Jeff Kent is the Technical Vice President for Smart Platforms, Technology & Innovation for Procter & Gamble’s Product Supply Global Engineering organization. In this entrepreneurial leadership role, he is responsible for driving a step change in capabilities, adoption and value creation from Manufacturing Intelligence, Connected Process, Equipment & Materials Assets, and Connected Operations. Jeff has been establishing Smart Platform Systems as an extension of P&G’s already successful global process & equipment platforms. In leading this digital transformation strategic focus area, Jeff is organizing capabilities, applications, architectures, use cases and people to exploit Industry 4.0 technologies to create the next S-Curve from intelligent systems and operations.
Jeff has 29 years of experience at P&G and the U.S. Air Force in key capability areas such as Digital Quality Assurance, High-Speed Quality Control Systems, Industrial Automation, Imaging & Sensing, Test & Evaluation and Systems Engineering. He was a 2014 recepient of the P&G’s PRISM Award and has been awarded 8 patents in the field of High-Speed Assembled Products Quality Inspections and Control Systems.
