Michael Morris

A native of Northern Alabama, Michael began his career at an early age working for the family construction business and farm.  His father taught the valuable lessons of the importance of people, planning, waste elimination and ensuring the right tools and knowledge was available for the job.  Michael served in the US Army.  For the next 25 years, Michael worked with the University of Alabama System, Reynolds Metals Company and ZF.  Michael has served in senior and executive roles for Occupational Safety, Training, Human Resources, and Operations Leadership.  Most recently, Michael launched the ZF Transmissions Plant in Gray Court, SC while serving at the Director level in both Operations and Human Resources.  Michael resides in Anderson County, South Carolina with his wife Angela of 33 years, has two children, Zachary and Karli Grace, and a granddaughter Espyn.  Michael holds a BS degree in Industrial Engineering.
