Georg Kube is the Global Head of Industry Data Ecosystems at SAP. Among other topics, he is responsible for SAP’s involvement in the Manufacturing-X initiative, with the goal of helping customers succeed in the digital economy.
Previously, he was the Global Head of SAP’s industry business unit for Industrial Manufacturing, in which he was responsible for defining industry-relevant solutions based on SAP’s complete portfolio of products and technologies, bringing them to market and driving business in the regional units.
Georg joined SAP in 2007 and has held several management positions within Industry Marketing and Solution Management.
Before joining SAP, Georg spent 14 years at HP as a Consultant and Consulting Director, working with major manufacturing companies mainly in the area of product development. He also held the position of Marketing Director for Manufacturing Industries in EMEA. Before HP, Georg worked as a mechanical engineer for what is now Kone Cranes, where he led the implementation of the CAD and PLM systems.
Georg holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Fachhochschule Karlsruhe and a Master of Business Marketing from the University of Berlin.
