Vincent Barre developed a passion for engineering starting at the young age of six. Following his calling, he went on to receive his BSME from Arts et Métiers ParisTech (France) followed by his Master’s Degree at the Georgia Institute of Technology. His education allowed him to start a career in Research on plastic processing with Arkema, France. He then relocated to the US where he did research on Poly-olefins with Total Petrochemicals in Texas.
Vincent joined Johnson & Johnson Vision Care in 2005 in Plastics Engineering R&D. In October 2011, Vincent moved into the Quality organization to develop a group focused on Customer Experience Engineering and Metrology. Gradually expanding responsibilities in the Quality Organization, Vincent now leads Quality Engineering and Analytics group for Johnson and Johnson Vision, as well as Customer Experience Engineering for Johnson and Johnson Medical Devices.
Vincent through his career made meaningful contributions in different industries, such as: optical discs, polymers, medical optics and Hospital medical devices. Vincent is inventor on over 20 US patents, most of which support active commercial products.
In his spare time, Vincent is an avid water-sports and triathlon enthusiast. He is blessed with a great family; wife, Tahia, and children, Julian and Siena.
