Chris Mercurio has over 20 years of experience implementing lean and industry 4.0 solutions in manufacturing and logistics throughout North America. During his career, he has led the development of i4.0 strategy in several plants and worked as a project manager for the start-up of a new distribution center in Canada and two new manufacturing plants in Mexico. In his current role as a Connected Industry Consultant for Bosch Rexroth specializing in intralogistics, Chris helps internal and external customers optimize their processes by delivering i4.0 solutions such as autonomous mobile robots [AMR], collaborative robots, and material & asset tracking. He has also held roles as a value stream manager, a plant lean coordinator, and an industrial engineer.
Currently based in Greenville, SC, Chris holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and an MBA from Georgia State University. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) in addition to holding internal Bosch certifications in project management, facilitation and lean.
